1. Who we are

Learnbank.ai is a learning app that provides students with practice questions, Smart Notes, learning progress tracking, AI-assisted tutoring, and analysis reports. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at help@learnbank.ai.

2. What we collect

• Account and profile details — such as your name, avatar, grade level, and login email.
• Learning data — such as notes, practice records, answers, progress, and results.
• Content you submit — such as questions you type and photos of problems you upload when using AI features.
• Device and usage information — such as device type and operation logs used for reliability and security.
• Parent information — collected only with appropriate consent, for parent binding and report sharing.
• Subscription status — whether your account has an active subscription. Payment is processed by Apple or Google; we never see or store your card details.

3. How we use your data

• Provide and improve learning services and personalised study experiences.
• Mark practice, generate reports, and provide learning suggestions.
• Sync your subscription entitlements so paid features unlock correctly.
• Improve the product, analyse reliability, and operate the service safely.
• Send you service notifications you have enabled.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

4. AI processing disclosure

Learnbank.ai's AI features (such as asking the AI tutor and generating analysis reports) are powered by an external AI provider, OpenAI. When you use these features, the content you submit — including your typed questions, uploaded photos of problems, and relevant learning context — is transmitted to OpenAI's servers for processing so a response can be generated for you.

• Content is sent securely (encrypted in transit) and only when you actively use an AI feature.
• We send only what is needed to answer your request; we do not send your password or payment information.
• AI responses are for learning reference only and may be inaccurate; always verify important answers with your teacher or textbook.

5. Third-party services we rely on

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting.
• OpenAI — AI processing for tutoring and analysis features (see Section 4).
• RevenueCat — subscription status management.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing for subscriptions.
• Expo — push notification delivery infrastructure.
• Google Sign-In — optional login method.

Each provider only receives the data necessary to perform its function.

6. Children and parental consent

Learnbank.ai is designed for students. Where a user is under the age of digital consent in their region, a parent or legal guardian's consent is required during onboarding. Parent binding and report sharing happen only with the student's authorisation or guardian consent, parents can only access the data scope that has been authorised, and the binding can be removed at any time.

7. Data security

• Encrypted data transfer (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted storage.
• Strict access control and permission management, enforced with row-level security.
• Regular security reviews and risk assessment.

8. Your choices and rights

• Access, correct, or delete your personal details in the app's Settings.
• Export your learning data.
• Manage notifications and personalisation settings.
• Delete your account: go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account in the app, or email help@learnbank.ai. Some information may be retained where required by law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy for compliance or operational reasons. Material changes will be announced through in-app notice or email. Continued use of Learnbank.ai after an update means you accept the revised policy.
